What Is Peligul?

Peligul is a passion project I started working on in october of 2024 in unity, but later switched to a custom engine using the Monogame Framework.

Peligul is a survival game that resolves around exploring islands, there will be a focus on "realistic" elements such as thirst, hunger, encumberence, and other similar statistics.

Features:

Implemented - Custom engine made using the Monogame Framework.

Implemented - Robust input system with foundations for a GUI based control mapper and future controller support.

Implemented - Player Controller.

Implemented - Camera System.

Planned - Random world generation system for generating unique islands.

Planned - Dynamic Entity System For Creatures.

Planned - Inventory System.

Planned - Player Statistics To Manage (Health, Stamina, Weight, Hunger, Thirst).

Planned - Enemies (no mythical creatures, just predatorial animals and such).
